The last stab at resurrection.
Hi.
I'll try to be back, the best I can!
And here's a copypaste of what I wrote in the description of the first deviation I submitted just now:
Hi.
It's been a while since I showed signs of life here.
I kind of grew tired of the whole Deviantart experience quite some time ago. This whole business with "deviations" and all.
Like each picture you publish have to be something very special. See, I don't quite work that way.
I emigrated to the blog format instead, as I am wont to publish 20 pictures, or most often more than that, at a time. I don't feel that each and every photograph I make stand on it's own as a masterpiece, or, in fact, even a "piece" as such. Each is but a part in the whole story I try to convey, which most often is the story of what I've seen the past week or so.
From my work as a ... I don't know what you'd call it ... retoucher and image editor, maybe, I've developed a healthy habit of working pretty fast.
Heavy retouches can take a couple of hours still, of course - always depending on the pay, mind, obviosly - but most of the time when editing pictures for magazines I put not often more than a couple of minutes per picture. And a couple of minutes is actually a rather long time these days, when I'm used to less from some projects.
What I'm getting at here is that I don't, as I mentioned just now, consider each and every single little picture as a piece of art. What I do mostly is document and make series of photographs.
This format is not particularily well suited for the kind of thinking one should employ when publishing pictures here.
However, I do miss my friends I made here during my active years. I won't mention names but all is included.
Thus: I'll try to update here more often and I'll try to comment more often and actually surf this goddamn place more often.
I'll make collages, I think, most of the time. And I'll also link to the blog for the story, if there is one.
now I'll just link it and be done with the upload:

Devious Comments
because of the "not every photo is a deviation" I post most of my photos on flickr. There I don't have to be so picky and have to think about submitting.
Job sounds quite nice, is it?
You should stick around here but keep an almost begrudging, misanthropic cynicism about you. There's no need to partake of polls, forums, competitions etc. etc.
Just fart about. If you don't expect too much, then it won't disappoint much.

I need to feed my swelling ego a little. And I do miss browsing this site as every now and then you stumble upon someone who can actually do something good.
I've never been one for the community part as far as polls, forums and competitions go.
I feel I want to rub myself unto you also.
I miss browsing through your gallamary three times a day.
I actually haven't even visited deviantart in all these years except the few times when I've updated the journal and put stuff in storage.
It seems it's still the same ol' shitty place.
But with more +fav-spamming due to the whole 'collections' thing.
